This piece talks about inner structures we build over time—the thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that shape how we experience the world, our behaviour patterns and how we see ourselves. I often think of them like quiet rooms inside us: some solid and comforting, others fragile or shifting. While painting this, I reflected on how some of my own long-held beliefs feel outdated, almost like walls that need to be rebuilt or windows that want to be opened. The layers, the muted tones, the faint lines—all represent that ongoing dialogue I have with myself. Not everything is meant to be resolved. Some thoughts are just meant to be heard and acknowledged whilst some we need to let go. You are your own inner architect.
